Carnation

Carnations express love, fascination and distiction.  They are worn on Mother's Day, Teacher's Day, St Patrick's and at weddings. It is the January birth flower and the 1st wedding anniversary flower.

King Luis IX healed his army from plague using Carnation infusion.  Eversince, It became one of the most appreciated plants in France.  French women would give red carnations to their husbands when departing for war.
